Xtreme GEAR S80 is a premium quality fully synthetic transmission fluid. Its formulation is based on appropriate additive package containing specific Extreme Pressure (EP) additives blended in synthetic base oils. It uses a new technology that can ensure extremely high lubrication performances under the most severe working conditions.
Xtreme GEAR S90 lubricant shows following main properties:
- Outstanding EP capabilities which allow efficient lubrication also under high discontinuous loads and very high sliding speed between gear teeth,
- High resistance to foaming which can guarantee optimum oil film formation,
- Excellent anti-oxidant properties impeding oil deterioration at elevated temperatures,
- High protection of moving parts against corrosion,
- Very good compatibility with all types of gaskets,
- Easy and rapid gear changes also at low temperatures due to its fluidity.
Xtreme GEAR S80 transmission fluid is recommended for the lubrication of all types of hypoid gears under severe loads, high relative sliding velocity between teeth and high operating temperatures.
This gear oil can be also used for normal gearboxes and steering boxes on cars and for gearboxes and final drive units on earth moving vehicles. This gear oil satisfies the needs of synchromesh units.
Xtreme GEAR S80 gear oil can be kept in the drive units for long, in agreement with manufacturers recommendations.
